Julie Anne Pavel 

Funds raised at Moose McGuire's Golf Tournament were donated to Julie Anne Pavel who is currently battling stage 3 breast cancer. Julie was working 2 jobs, school full time, and being a full time mom to her daughter when she was diagnosed June 2016.  By September she had graduated with a Masters in Police Governance and Mental Health.

Jason Leduc 

Funds raised at Hurley's Yuk Yuk's Night were donated to Jason Leduc, age 36, who is currently battling stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. In February, Jason was forced to stop working due to the severity of his shoulder and back pain. It wasn't until March that the doctors discovered the source of his pain... cancer. He was told that this was a terminal cancer with a 1 year life expectancy.

Update: Jason has passed the 1 year mark that the doctors gave him as his life expectancy!  After hearing that his cancer was untreatable, Jason signed up for a clinical trial in which he is currently undergoing. The scans are showing positive results as his tumour is shrinking and is no longer spreading.
